I have been using the ABS filament so I have been scraping the surface of the glass after each print with a painter's razor. Once it is fairly smooth I reapply the glue and ABS Juice.

I am running low on ABS Juice so I'll have to make some new. I hear Aquanet hair-spray works real well for some reason.

Hairspray works, but builds up a lot of residue fast.

ABS Juice in spray bottle we supply is really easy to use, but in our office we actually have a can of the juice and use a paper towel to spread it on the bed. This way you wont get nasty build up on your print bed.

💡 ABS juice is really easy to make, there is a ratio on the bottle label even. You just need to buy a bottle of acetone at your local hardware store 🙂

Hello guys.

I have a problem with the residue on the glass surface as well 🙁 Am I doing something wrong? Do I use too much glue and / or ABS juice?

I am attaching a recent picture of my glass surface for your reference. (The surface is broken somehow, I'll get a replacement surface soon)

I tried to clean the surface but there is still a large amount of residue and this resudie affects the quality of the first layer of the printed parts as well.

I saw that some people are using nylon / pet film to cover the glass surface. Would this help?

And do you have a suggestion / trick to remove printed parts easily from the glass surface without damaging them?

Hi, the spray is very easy to use but leaves this residue. Best way is to apply the spray on a paper towel and wipe the cold printbed with it.

💡 If you want to clean the printbed, best way is to soak it in water for an hour or so. Then dry it off, apply one coat of glue and finish it with juice.

I see you suffer from a cracked glass. Be sure not to cut yourself.
