Nozzle Temp not going up on LCD but still warming until MAXTEMP error
Hello,
I just finished assembling the MK2s and went ahead to print the prusa logo which was great. however, since that only print, I can't print anything else as when the printer warms up, the bed temps are going up but the nozzle temp stays at 28deg on the LCD even though the nozzle actually warms up till max (smoke comes out of the plastic) and then the printer beeps with max temp message.
any idea?

update: checked the hotend termistor cable all the way back to the board and just disconnected and reconnected it.
everything works fine now
no idea what happened there.
