Nozzle Height

I'm told my nozzle height is way too high.

Is there a value for the height of the nozzle off the print bed? What about the Probe?

I'm setting the nozzle to .003 and the probe to 1.07 using feeler gauges.

I adjusted the z-axis to -.2 thru -.6 without achieving better results.

Sorry the top image is upside down but that is the top. I stopped the print at this point. The second image is the bottom. Last picture is just before the print.

Update.

Thanks for the help here.

As best as I can tell, the tension screws for the filament were too tight.

my first few tests included a test square 75x75 posted in the forum. This really helped me dial in a few notches.

I printed the first hour of the vase included with the bundle. There seems to be a flaw (shown in the photo) that is occurring where the layer completes or a new layer begins.
