No Control Of Nozzle & Bed + No Power
I just finished my building prusa i3 and downloaded the drivers for it but when I plug it in the nozzle and heat bed just keeps heating up
I have tried setting a temp limit for it but it just goes well over. I have checked the wires and they are all in the correct places.
Anyone know why this is happening?
Re: No Control/ Overheating of nozzle and bed
UPDATE: I was messing around with the cables abit to see if that would change anything and now after reversing the extruder heater with the bed heater the extruder is not heating up at all but now the bed heats up ignoring temp limits. Another thing I noticed is that the PSU cables in the instructions say to plug in where I have my extruder heater and bed heater plugged in, but if I reverse them to be like the instructions my printer does not get power. So is this problem with my connectors or the board?

Re: No Control Of Nozzle & Bed + No Power
Please check the fuses, if you pluged the heatbed into the hotend output and tried heating ti, the fuse for hotend will be blown.
What temperatures show you the display when you power up your printer?
Re: No Control Of Nozzle & Bed + No Power
Yes you were right about the blown fuse, one of the 5 amp ones was gone. The only other ones I have are 30 amp so what if I replaced the 15 amp with a 30 and the blown 5 amp with the 15 or is that just a bad idea? If it is I can just wait until to tomorrow to get the right one.
Now if I power up the printer with the cables in the way the instructions say it does not get power to the board but if I reverse them around the nozzle heats up with no limit and the bed does not heat at all.
OK I just tried the printer with the 30 amp fuse for 2 seconds and now it gets power with the cables the right way. tomorrow I can finally calibrate and test 3d printing if it was just the blown fuse.
