Need help swaping hotend...for a prebuild

Hi....so yeah. My prusa is a pre-build. I had a clog and accidentally broke off the thermostor ...got a completely new hotend with wiring and heatsink and..... i don't have instructions on how to swap them out. Anyone got a link I can use to see me through this? 😕

Help.

Thanks.

Maybe this can get you going a bit further:

Or you can just replace the thermistor on your installed hotend. There is a small set screw in the bottom front of the heat block (you should be able to see it on your new one). Loosen it when hot, and replace the thermistor.

Otherwise, as Gert.I said, look at the manual. Gert.I pointed you toward the assembly manual for the extruder (good choice), and there happens to be disassembly instructions in the MMU upgrade manual, here:

http://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/1A.+MK2+Extruder+disassembly/372

So if you do the disassembly followed by the assembly, you should be fine.

You do not need to completely disassemble, only to get to the hotend.
