Need help calibration(live help if Possible)

Hello,
Maybe I'm dumb but I've been calibrating an i3 plus for a whole day (I'm ready to pull my hair out) and still having trouble. So far, the prints I had have come out bad so far and I don't really know how to make it good.If anyone can help me using video call or some sort of live help, that would be really nice and thanks ahead of time.

Somehow, whenever I try to user the business card calibration method they have on those youtube videos, it doesn't work for me at all.
PS: this is my first 3d printer , so I have no experience at all

Hi Gene

I presume this is a Mk1? Calibration is quite difficult to start with, but you very quickly get used to it and it becomes less necessary over time.

Just take your time, follow the instructions, have patience and don't get frustrated...

Gene

Being mad really won't help.

Remove the glass and home the Z axis and turn off the motors (disable steppers). Turn the bed adjusters so that it is as low as possible.

Slide the glass sheet into place (not too far to the left otherwise it will lift up on the solder connections for the heater).

Manually move the nozzle so that it is about 1" (25mm) in diagonally from the front left corner of the bed.

Raise the bed at that corner until there is about a 1mm gap between glass and nozzle. Repeat for all 4 corners.

Do the same again, this time using the provided card; make sure there is a light drag between card and nozzle. Repeat for all 4 corners.

Keep doing the same with the card until there is a light drag on the card at all 4 corners.

Patience is your best friend.

Could you define "slight drag"so I have better details on how much friction should the extuder tip have? 😀

"Light Drag" - when you can feel the card being slightly pinched, but you can still move it easily.
