MK2S Z Axis - Step 12 Why are motors sitting at an angle instead of being straight?

Currently stuck on step 12 for building my Z axis. Everything is fine, except the screwheads from the motors are hitting both of the top brackets. Even if I put the smooth rods in both the top bracket and the bottom bracket and align it, the motors are still hitting the top brackets. I then decided to loosen the bottom bracket so everything can move, and the motor is still hitting too low. After measuring the motors the distance from the motor and the frame narrows as it gets towards the top bracket. The motors themselves are perfectly straight, though.

So for some reason the Z axis motors, on both left and right brackets, are at an angle which presses against the top bracket. The motor's screwheads start pressing after all four screws are even threaded. How can I fix this?

In case I didn't mention it, this happens both with and without the x axis on the z axis threaded motors & rods.

Looks like this person has had the same issue, but they apparently never found a fix. https://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/prusa-i3-kit-building-calibrating-first-print-main-f6/z-axis-threaded-rods-not-centered-on-z-axis-top-pa-t5165.html

Even his video is my exact problem.

So I guess it is 'okay'?
