Where in the instructions does it tell me to tighten the nozzle? I do not remember seeing any instructions for that.

To confirm, in the MK2S instructions there's no specific guidance on tightening the nozzle. I assume it's not required as mine came torqued up.

Hotend too hot. Moisture in the filament, extruder motor, hobbed nut, etc not in alignment .

Moisture in the filament causes spitting and fumes. Filament should be stored correctly and sealed in a bag with silica gel. RigidInk here in the UK provides the bags and silica gel, for storage.

@Mark you are correct the hotend and nozzle comes pre-tightend.

From the animated GIF's you posted, I'd have to agree with PJR (his advice in this forum is usually spot on from what I've seen).

It looks like the plastic is oozing out above the nozzle. This is shipped pre-assembled, but possibly they didn't tighten it enough.

Surely as supplied assembled Prusa Hot Ends should come pre-tightend ? If not, poor quality control on Prusa's part. Prusa please note.

Ooops my bad. Peter is right as Kevin confirmed above. On closer look the filament is oozing out above the nozzle.
It seems that a nozzle tightness check is needed as another step in the instructions.

and it's pretty clear that the higher the demand for printers/kits is, the more the backlog grows... and the higher the pressure is for prusa to produce the printers/kits as fast as possible.
and we all should know that the amount of errors rises when you try to speed up production processes, with a given staff & environment.

i assume that's one reason why prusa moved to a bigger facility.

but growing to fast has other downsides, so it has to be done and planned carefully !
if someone would ask me, i would recommend to prusa a certification according to ISO9001 (the earlier you begin, the easier it is)... even as it looks like unnescessary stuff for them right now.

Looking back at this issue, I suspect the company Prusa buys its ready assembled hot ends and tightened nozzles, ie E3D maybe at fault?

I suggest a check at Prusa''s end of the supply chain.

The only thought I have on that is that it would be significantly cheaper to assemble the hot end in the Czech Republic than in the UK. With that said, I have no idea where they are assembled.
