Lost balls from bearing on Y carriage

As I fitted the rod through the second bearing on the Y-carriage five balls came out. I was being very gentle and careful. The only thing I can think I did wrong was to slowly rotate the rod to try to find a position it was happy to slide in.
I have an LM8U taken out of a Wanhao i3 but it seems to me the quality of the Prusa is better and I should like to have exactly the same bearing. Any idea how I can get one?
I plan to continue with the build with the bearing as it is. Is that a bad idea?

A loss of that many balls from the bearing renders it a problem maybe now and certainly in the future. Is there play around this bearing now? I suggest replacing with a new bearing. ASAP. Your replacement bearing maybe OK for now from your Wanhao.

Bearings of required spec are all over the internet. 3D printing is not Rocket Science.

Certainly not, but that's a bit of a mean remark to make to someone just looking for a bit of help on the support forum, no? If one is still just getting started, it can be difficult to know what is important, and what is not, and what may be patently obvious to you may not be so clear to others. 🙂

Perhaps I must mis-read the tone in the statement. If so, please accept my apologies in advance.

@babak.j Wow I am so sorry. My comment was not meant as derogatory. I was only pointing out that 3D printing has become a home enterprise and hobbyist, and not an elite group aka NASA. Its a throw away comment here in the UK, that means that experts are not needed. I truly apologise for any offence caused.

I also had some bearing balls come out when I was originally putting together my MK2. So far everything has been working smoothly, however I sent [email protected] an email for the official bearings to use, and they told me "LMU88 bearings".

I found some on Amazon here:
https://www.amazon.com/Easy-RepRap-Bearings-Printer-selling/dp/B00ED150S4/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469766297&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=LMU88+bearings

Also for anyone looking for replacement belts they told me it was "GT2-16 belts".

I hope this helps.
