LCD - no Clear() Method? LCD messy

Hey 😀 ,
yesterday i assembled my MK2 updated the Firmware and calibrated it. I'm so super-happy to print gorgeous things now.
Printing works quite good. Seems like i have to put some more time in adjusting Z but a rather annoying problem i'm facing right now is my messy LCD.

Whenever i e.g. execute the XYZ-calibration the info text on the LCD is not cleared before the next page is written. So i have every character from the last pages, that was not overwritten by the actual page, on the actual page making the LCD very hard to read. 😕
I'll upload a picture with the issue as soon as my printer is ready with the current print to clarify what i mean.

Did anyone experiencing the same problem? Is it a bug in the current firmware or did the flashing of the new firmware go wrong?

Greetings

Edit: It's not everywhere. Seems like that mainly the onboard-applications are affected. Getting into the menu and back to the info screen e.g. works fine.

Here is the promised picture. I'm moving the z-axis in this picture. But the letters from the top menu, wich were not replaced by new ones persist.
This happens only if an onboard programm like calibration is executed.

😕 might be that one of the ribbon cables has a wire with bad contact. check out if something changes when you swap the cables at both sides (lcd and rambo).
➡ if the problem still persists, check if all the pins from the lcd display itself are properly soldered at the lcd-2004 module.

The problem persists after changing the cables. I'm going to look at the lcd unit now.
Thanks for the advise and your time! 😉
