How do I get the hot end out?

Hi, I have a serious clog. I'm trying to take the extruder part, but have hit a snag. I have it all apart, but the nozzle won't come away from the extruder body. I bought my i3 mk2 as an assembled unit, so this is my first time looking at the nuts and bolts of it.

How much force should it take to get the nozzle out? I've tried pulling the nozzle out at an angle, but I'm afraid I'll break the body?

Any advise?

Thanks for the link. Great to see someone else try it first.

So, I got it out, and unscrewed the heat break from the heater. Different looking than the Prusa video for replacing the tube, but I guess that's a different model.

Now, I have the issue where my stuck/brittle filament is still stuck. Not the tube or the heat break, but something in the heater. Can I heat it up with out the break and try to remove it, or should I try to just remove the nozzle?

I would say yes. The heat break just keeps the filament from melting in the PFTE tube.

I would heat it to the lowest melting temp of the filament and try to yank out the filament.

Do you have silicone oven mittens, they may make the job easier.
