Heated bed and poor levelling
The standard arrangement for mounting the heated bed and levelling seems very crude. I have struggled with it especially one corner. the corner would not seat without a lot of pressure. I decided to ream out the holes a little bit on the Y frame, it made no difference the screw still bound and was difficult to shift down. So I used my own stock of longer M3 screws and washers and added a spring to each corner and printed some new thumbwheels. A more robust means of adjustment. It works well.

First off, enlarging the holes is not a good idea as you can introduce lateral movement into the bed which causes layering problems when printing. This is why Josef has not included spring mounts.
I have posted the solution to this issue a few times on this forum with the above warning. Basically it is to clean out the holes (with supplied screw) and to loosen the nuts under the bed, heat the bed and then re-tighten the nuts.
The system provided by Prusa Research works for the vast majority of users; the remaining users who have not had the patience to make it work have implemented a system similar to your idea.

When I say ream out, I mean clean the coating on the inside of the holes, as suggested in the manual. I have not oversized the holes. My own bolts seem a better fit and I get no horizontal movement as everything is under tension.
The levelling using the spring method is used on most other similar design 3D printers, as standard. I could not seat one corner, and it threw out my prints. Hence the change. 🙄 However I have hit another issue with clearance so...........
I maybe go back to the original method, as I would like a pure Original I3 build. You say that you have addressed this issue before. I am new to the genuine I3. Perhaps there should be stickies for FAQS and issues that are common for many and that others have solved!
