HeatBed forces a Reset on LCD
After updating to FW 2.2.1 I come back to the same problem I was having with 2.2.0: when I set a target temperature for the heat bed after 2 seconds the LCD resets and the target temperature comes back to 0.
This is a brand new printer that worked correctly for the first to prints, but not any longer.
This behaviour happens both when I use the preheat and when I use settings\temperature\bed.
The nozzle can preheat correctly without any issue.
Any suggestions?

Looks like you have an issue similar to others on this forum.
The heated bed is possibly shorting out, as the washers have been placed upside down, cutting the varnish on the PCB and creating a short.
There are 2 things you can try:
1. Swap over the heater cables in the connector (the short effectively causes the heater to be polarised, so swapping the cables may help). Make sure the connectors are screwed up tightly when swapping over the cables.
2. Undo the 4 heated bed screws. Make sure that the washer have the smooth surface towards the PCB and insulate them with a bit of tape.

Swapping the cables made no difference for me.
But yes, I noticed that I had tightened too much the bed screws and they were marking the bed and thus creating a short-circuit.
I solved it as you suggested insulating with a bit of tape under the screws and it works fine now.
If this is happening to others I wonder why there is not a fool proof solution.
I could suggest some ideas:
1.- Using plastic washers to make sure that the screws are insulated from the bed.
2.- Designing the resistor circuit in the bed so that it does not use the space under the washers avoiding the risk of contact between washers and circuit.
And I would also suggest to use longer screws and another nut for each corner of the bed so that we can get a better calibration not only "pushing" upward against the frame, but also being able to pull from under the bed when it is needed for a better calibration.

Josef is aware of these issues and I believe the manual is being amended to include notes regarding the washers. Unfortunately, it takes time to implement these things.

same issue I had... it the 110v-220v switch on your PCU. its very hard to see threw the window so u can open it up like I did, only a few screws, switch it to 110 and your ready to roll.

Similar situation but different cause. I believe Juan is located in Spain and runs from 220 V mains.
