Extruder temperature not stable

Hello.

I have a significant problem with the extruder temperature.
When the temp raises the goal, it keeps going up and down but with I think too much difference.

For example , when i ask for 210 degres, it will oscillate beetween 205 to 215 degres approximately. Is there any way to improve this ?

Best regards,

Re: Extruder temperature not stable

I think that's normal. I'm currently printing PEL, set to 200'C and it keeps going between 197 and 203. Both the temperature sensor and the heating element have some lag, so you'll never be able to keep it perfectly at the set temperature. Are you having any issues with the temp. fluctuating a little?

think my thread should help you. had great results after pid autotune. you can just insert the pid settings into your gcode (no need to update the firmware).
