Re: Extruder nozzle stoppered / clogged

Hello,

Just a small feedback ..I managed to unclog it with one small iron wire (one of an iron brush)

Now it is ok but I noticed that the extruder springs were too tight .. and that was spoiling the filament I untight them and no problem since then

Re: Extruder nozzle stoppered / clogged

Hi Philippe

You could also drop the temperature to 245 degrees; if the PTFE tubing gets too hot, then it can block the nozzle, especially if the print requires many quick retractions.

It is always worthwhile having a few spare nozzles and PTFE tubes, as you will need them over time, and I find it better for them to be with me than in the shop!

Available here: http://e3d-online.com/ Always worth the extra cost to get originals...
