End stop issues

During the V2 Calibration the axis aren't hitting the end stops and just grinding. I double checked my assembly and everything looks right. On the X-axis the extruder doesn't reach all the way to the end stop.

Re: End stop issues

I just finished building mine, and I had this exact same problem. The X end stop would not be triggered so the extruder would continually ram the left edge. My solution was to add a couple of layers of tape to the part of the extruder that is supposed to make contact with the end stop. It works great now.

Perhaps this is due to a faulty design change rather than a lack of accuracy on the 3d printed parts?

Mine did the same thing guys did you calibrate the z axis first, if the left side is too far up the end stop will not be activated.

Hi

When positioning the X endstop, be sure to push it on the right while tightening the screws holding it.

In addition, double check that the cable management does not touch the Z-frame.

You should be able to manually move the carriage on the left side and hear the click when the endstop is triggered.

I'm like Jon Snow, I know nothing.

There is also a "Show end stops" function in the Setup menu, showing the state of the end stops.
