Cold end clogging after every print

I recently switch from the Prusa PLA to AMZ3D PLA and my cold end get clogged after each print.
The prints are looking really good and they are completed, but the next time i try to use the printer, it is clogged.

New PLA: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01CX93TMQ/ref=pe_3034960_236394800_TE_dp_1

I end up doing a cold pull before every print.

My retraction settings are really low

Bed temperature is L1 = 60 and the rest is a 55
Nozzle temperature L1 = 205 and rest is 195 (180-210 is the range written on the spool)

I tried printing at 185 too and i had the same issue.

I could be wrong but i feel like its more mechanical than a software issue.
Could it be filament related?

This is one of the print i did with the clogged filament i had to pull

Thanks

Is your printer in an enclosure? Or in a very warm environment?

Check that the extruder fan (the one that blows on the cooling fins of the heat break) is running without obstruction.

If the cold break gets too warm, the filament will soften, and create a clog like this. Your new brand may just do that sooner.

Any advices given are offered in good faith. It is your responsibility to ensure that by following my advice you do not suffer or cause injury, damage or loss. If you solve your problem, please post the solution…

It's loud and blowing a lot of air 😀
Is there a way to test it other than buying a new fan?

As long as it is blowing it should be fine. Try a different filament to see if it is that or your machine.

Can you post your end G-code.

I have a feeling that you may be retracting too much at the end of the print.

Thanks for the suggestion! 🙂

Here's the gcode

; layer end
M106 S0 ; turn off cooling fan
M104 S0 ; turn off extruder
M140 S0 ; turn off bed
G1 F1000.0 ; set feed rate
G1 E-3 ; retract
G1 X0 Y200 F7200 ; home XY axis
G1 Z197 F900; move extruder up to keep P.I.N.D.A. prope away from heated bed at next start
M84 ; disable motors
; Build Summary
; Build time: 4 hours 42 minutes
; Filament length: 18038.7 mm (18.04 m)
; Plastic volume: 43388.25 mm^3 (43.39 cc)
; Plastic weight: 54.24 g (0.12 lb)
; Material cost: 1.08

I just sliced with Slic3r PE and noticed there's no retraction at the end of the print!

That is most likely the issue. 3mm can be a little too much for the single filament printer. Remove it; there will be a little oozing, but better than a blockage.
