clogged nozzle?

Hi, I've just finished building my prusa which is my very first and after a few hick ups (totally my fault for not reading the instruction carefully ) I got it to print a tree frog which came out great, and then I tried the whistle, which came out fine as well. After that, I could not get successful print, and it seemed that the nozzle had clogged. I took out the nozzle, cleaning it out until I can see the light shone through the nozzle hole and I put it back in, and preheat and loaded the filament. So I did the xyz calibration gcode that came with the sd card. The line that it laid at the corner of the bed seemed fine. But then the zig zag pattern started and the line was really thin, and I adjusted the z thinking maybe the nozzle was too close to the bed. It laid a kind of a dot and trailed out several times.

this is the pattern

and this is the line at the edge.

I'm not sure what to do now.

Ok, I've seemed to solve it now. I did the atomic pull one more time, and it seemed to do the trick. Here's the result.
