Can't Screw PSU into Frame
When I was assembling the printer, I ran into a pretty bad problem. The PSU's holes weren't lined up so I couldn't screw it into the frame. They weren't aligned because of the black support piece on the PSU. The black support piece is supposed to sit on top of the black printed piece (attached to the threaded rod) right? I looked at pictures of other prusas and noticed that my PSU's bottom black thing is injection molded while the others were printed. Is this a new problem? How do I fix this?
Re: Can't Screw PSU into Frame
Hi Caitlin. Is yout black frame resting on the tabletop or suspended about 6mm above the table?.
The 10mm black screwed rods are supposed to seat in the bottom of the channels in the main frame. This may have caused your problem.

Re: Can't Screw PSU into Frame
Yes the black frame is touching the table. I've included a picture of the problem with the black support pieces to illustrate my problem.
Re: Can't Screw PSU into Frame
It should not be touching the table. See Joan's post.

Re: Can't Screw PSU into Frame
Please see the attached pictures,
the 10mm screwed rods should be at the bottom of the slots which are ar the bottom of the frame.
The second photo is upside down.
it's the only one that shows the rods in the bottom of the slots
