Calibration points too far back

Hi,

I have an issue with the extruder being jammed into the printbed at the middle back calibration point when running the calibrate z routine. I am using firmware 3.03 and got same the issue with firmware 3.04 beta (which I have downgraded from now).

The z-probe seems to find the 6 frontmost calibration points, but those at the back of the printbed are about 1 cm too far back. And even with the 3.04 beta the backmost points where not found.

Any ideas on where the problem is?

Is your Y-motor pulley really tightened well?

Im not talking about belt, but about pulley, that small rounded wheel with teeth screwed on Y-motor. Are the screws tightened well?

Could also be a build issue with the Z frame too far forwards.

Re: Calibration points too far back

Thank you David, the pulley actually had gotten loose!! Problem with the rearmost calibration points being too far back solved 😀

And Peter, after adjusting the z-axle position on the y-axle the probe is now spot on the calibration points. The distance between the backside of the frame and the front of the back corner plastic is again the recomded 10 cm :geek:
