Calibration new build Mk2S

Hi,

Watched the video a few times (very helpful) and I have very carefully calibrated the printer it goes through its XYZ routine then I do Z live adjust which to be honest doesn't seem to do anything that I can see? I go to print something and more often than not it fails to find the 2nd calibration point. So I carefully check for debris on the nozzle and it still fails

If it passes the XYZ calibration then that should be OK I've had some good prints from the machine though

Now fixed my issue I was not adjusting the live adjust Z enough I could not see the squishing of the filament on the Z calibration print until I ramped up the setting to -0.350 mm or so. Then it was really obvious

My technique now is to

1. Adjust PINDA sensor as per the instructions however I use a piece of paper under the nozzle as a kind of feeler gauge so that there's an ever so slight pull on the paper between nozzle and bed as you manually move the Z axis stepper motors up and down
2. Carefully loosen the sensor and lower it onto a long zip tie again so there's a small bit of friction between it and the bed be careful as the bed flexes. Tighten the sensor
3. Run XYZ calibration mine said there was a slight skew which is apparently fine
4. Print V2 calibration and as its printing got to live adjust Z and move this down until the filament is squished and sticking well to the bed. The easiest way to do this as its printing the test pattern carefully try to flick the filament off the bed with your finger nail. Its obvious when its stuck well

After that perfect prints for me Hooray!!
