Calibration failures after upgrade/rebuild

- My attempts to calibrate my recently repaired and upgraded MK2 have failed.
- The firmware is 3.0.11
- The PINDA height was set using a zip-tie. I eventually had to put electrical tape on the PINDA to prevent it from slipping.
- The first time I ran the XYZ Calibration it was completed with a generic error saying the calibration failed.
- I adjusted the PINDA again using the slightly smaller end of the zip-tie.
- The next XYZ Calibration attempt failed at the second test point and unfortunately, the extruder dug deeply into the board before I could stop it.
- After sanding down the mountain created by the extruder I tweaked the base to make sure it was level and square.
- This time I decided to run the Auto Bed Leveling to see what would happen.
- Watch the short video to see what happens: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AggvxJ0buTbmgfhr7im16LTjeMh2Uw
- When the extruder reaches the 9th point it tries to push through the build plate. I attempted this twice with the same results.
- I am concerned that I may have irrepearably damaged the Build plate.
- Any suggestions on obtaining a successul XYZ Calibration?
- If the build plate is beyond repair, how do I replace it?
- I would love to have a functioning printer when the Multi-Material upgrade arrives. 🙂

Re: Calibration failures after upgrade/rebuild

Looks like you need to replace your PEI sheet: http://shop.prusa3d.com/en/3d-printer-parts/146-replacement-pei-sheet-ultem.html

Or you could just print in a different place, but the PEI looks to be in very poor condition anyway.

You also need to lower the probe somewhat.
