Broken extruder fan?
Hi,
I received my kit last thursday, however the included extruder fan seems to be broken/half broken. It makes every now and then a very noisy sound, kinda like there is some part loose.
Is this normal? Or is the fan actually broken.

Is it loud whiny noise every few seconds? Mine does it too. I think it's normal for these cheap small fans.
It got little bit better after a few hours. And with the stepper motors running when printing it's hardly noticable.

No, it is a noisy sound which noticable over the steppers, even when the axis are traveling on high speed.

They can get noisy over time in dusty environment, but gets normal when cleaned.
Maybe it just resonates with the screws holding it to the printed shroud. Could check that?
