Bed not getting hot enough
Prusa I3 Mk2s
I've been printing with some eSun PETG. I'm using the Prusa PETG setting in Slic3r. The setting for bed temperature are 85c for first layer, 90c for other layers. It takes a long time for the bed to heat to 85c but it does get there. Then the print starts etc. Once it passes the 1st layer, the bed wants to go to 90c but just won't do it. It's been sitting at about 85 and won't get any warmer. The display correctly indicates the target of 90c,
Note that this does not seem to interfere with the printing and I don't have any problems so far with bed adhesion etc.
Any way to make the bed heat faster and/or hotter?
Room temp is about 25c.
Thanks
Re: Bed not getting hot enough
Double check that the temperature sensor on the bottom of the bed has not moved or come loose. I had a similar issue with my bed not heating up enough and it turned out the temp sensor had worked its way up into the cable wrap through the normal movement of the bed. Once I firmly reattached it to the bottom of the bed it would heat up to 100C again.

Re: Bed not getting hot enough
Just put a small piece of cardboard size to cover bed. Mine heats up 3x faster
