Bad fan delivered or ramboard to me?

I just got done building my kit, and the front fan (fan 2) appears to be bad. It did not come on during the initial self test. I swapped the wires to the fan 1 pins, and it not come on there either in the self test. I clipped some test leads to the fan 2 pins and ran the self test - there was no Vdc across the pins when fan 2 was supposed to be turned on.

The blades turn fine.

All of the other self tests ran fine, and the calibration ran perfectly. But my front fan just will not turn on. I don't know what voltage it should run at, so can't check it outside of the ramboard connection.

I think I received a bad fan, and/or possibly a bad ramboard.

Any help would be appreciated.

Tony

The fan is 12V and can be tested with a standard 9V battery.

I worked with support. We switched things around a few times, and now things work. Best guess is that the front fan connector missed one of the pins the first few times. Case closed.
