10a & 13a Firmware Versions?
I want to upgrade the firmware in my Prusa i3 so the first step is to get my hands on the firmware. I'm looking on the github page but there are four files for the 1.75 machine and I've not idea what the difference between them is. OK so Full and Lite is probably self explanatory-ish. (I'll go with the full Fat, full sugar and full alcohol content.)
But the difference between "10a" and "13a" I guess it could relate to a version number but they are both uploaded at the same time? Can anyone advise what the difference between these versions is?

John
The 1.0 vs. 1.3 is the RAMBo version. All recent printers have been shipped with RAMBo V1.3a.
The hot end parts determine the other parameter - either Lite6 or V6 (full metal). All 1.75mm printers have been shipped with the Lite6 hot end.

Watch out with necroposting like that. This thread appears to concern firmware for the original i3, not the i3 Mk2. You should use the FW linked at http://www.prusa3d.com/drivers/ . The most current version at this time is 3.0.10.
If you received your printer in december, it's most likely equipped with a RAMBO 1.3

Good explanation of the "which firmware version should I use?" question can be found here:
