Vase mode oddness
Has anyone tried spiral vase mode on their MK2?
I just tried it and it produced some bizarre results. Like one side started raising up way higher than the other.
My shape was fairly simple; essentially the head of an upside-down mushroom.
Edit: oops, nevermind I see it was indeed a bug in slic3r.

Ahhh... I know you guys like to impress each other with massive multiday decorative prints, but I tend to keep on the small custom jobs.
I was originally going to vacuum mold an antenna cover as it would be both stronger and lighter, but... I need to actually construct a vacuum former. Until then, this will have to do.
It's too bad vase mode is treated like a joke because, well, everyone insists on printing decorative vases.
A modified spiral vase mode would be really, REALLY interesting for airfoils.
