Selective wall thickening

Hi,

Is there a way to create extra wall thickness in specific parts of a model? I am printing 2 parts who will be fastened together with a pocket hole+screw, i.e. the "results" of a Kreg jig. I created a thin tube in the wall where the screw will attach, so there are the standard 3 wall layers there. Is there a way to create more solid mass in that area so that the screw threads have more to bite on?

Thanks!

Re: Selective wall thickening

You could use a modifier mesh to set the infill to 100% where you need more strength.

See this thread:
