round overhang does not keep form

Hi guys,
I'm trying to print a round overhang (take a look at the attached image). In the image, you're looking from the bottom onto the part where the support structure is already removed on the upper ring. As you can see however, the form of the first layers is not perfectly round. It seems to me that the filament didn't stick properly to the support structure such that as the nozzle continued drawing the circle it was pulled to the middle. Is there anything I might improve to solve this issue?
I'm using a Prusa i3 MK2S with 1.75 mm PLA and the 0.4mm nozzle. The printing parameters are:

Layer height: 0.2 mm
First layer height: 0.3 mm
Vertical / Horizontal shells: 3
20% Infill (Stars, Rectilinear)
Support Material: Contact Z distance: 0.2 mm, pillars, Pattern spacing: 2.5 mm, interface layers: 3, Interface pattern spacing: 0 mm, XY separation: 50%
Speed: (in mm/s or %) Perimeters: 20, Small: 15, External: 55%, Infill: 55, Solid Infill: 45, Top solid infill: 35, Support material: 50, Support material interface: 100%, Bridges: 60, Gap fill: 20, Travel: 130, First layer: 30%
Extrude temperature: 215°C, Bed Temperature: 55°C

Try to reduce contact distance to 0.15mm. You can also try fan at 100%

Is there a special reason for you to have the first layer at .30? I thought that the first layer always should be .20 regardless of the rest of the layer height.

As long as the first layer is 0.15mm or greater, there is not an issue. The 0.15mm is a limitation with this printer only; other printers can print with layer much lower.

As long as the first layer is 0.15mm or greater, there is not an issue. The 0.15mm is a limitation with this printer only; other printers can print with layer much lower.

I was struggling with this since i spotted in my S3D with a MK2 profile that all layer heights (.10, .20. 30) all had the first layer set to .20.

(i dont want to hog his this thread, i struggle a bit and maybe start a new thread).

Thanks guys! Contact distance at 0.1 mm really improved the printing.
However now some lines stick to the support and get ripped off when I'm removing the support. Any idea how to prevent this?

Try interface pattern spacing at 0.1.

For me, the "sweet spot" is 0.15mm Z gap and 0.5mm XY gap or get the MM upgrade and use PVA support interfaces.

Thanks again guys!
The XY gap is not really the issue, it's more the z direction that sticks to the support.
I tried printing it with 0.1 and 0.2 interface pattern spacing but some lines stick to the support. Is my temperature of 215 °C too high or are there other ideas? Thanks a lot!

i found 215 was a little too high i was having issues lots of stringing and some weird oozing i dropped just 5C to 210 which is just 9 degrees F and a bunch of issues stopped and the stringing went away.
