Rough edges and stringing
Hi all,
I've been trying to print Aria by Loubie to learn to slice models and get the best results. However, I am struggling. I started with the Prusa i3 MK2 R4 Simplify3D profile that's on this forum. I have done a PID calibration and set my E-steps so that I am no longer under extruding.
To try and fix the stringing I increased the retraction distance from .8mm to 1.6mm but this lead to a failed print.
I've since tried setting retraction 1.1mm, the coasting to 0.5 and the wipe distance to 2.2mm however this lead to this print:
I've dropped the retraction back down to 0.8mm but my prints still have rough edges on overhangs and have a large amount of stringing
