Problems with Colorfabb XT

Have been printing perfectly with the Mk2 printer and PLA filament, but thought I would try some of the Colorfabb XT. Got a roll of yellow from Prusa, and tried a test print direct on the PEI bed. No go, could not get it to stick. But worked perfectly on a Buildtak sheet. The test piece I printed was a 20mm hollow cube, with 2mm wall thickness but no fill. That worked fine. Came back to do some more, but this time printing some blocks with the standard 15% infill. But while this started off ok, about 5 mm up the material started balling up, leaving blobs and stuff along the infill walls. Then left a big blob standing up about 1.5 mm above the print surface. Aborted the print, as it would have run into the probe, amongst other things, it just looked horrible.
Settings were the Prusa default, temps 240 nozzle, 90 bed for the bottom layers, 65 for the rest.
It seemed to go bad about the time the part fan turned on, but I havent yet tried it with the fan off all the way.
Any thoughts, suggestions ?

Try slowing the print down to 50%. If this fixes the issue you can slowly bump up the speed incrementally.

The standard Settings for the XT should work fine. So my bet would go on moisture in the Filament which is a easy one to Test. Wack it in the Oven at 70°C for an hour or two and try again.

Hello - I have had similar issues with Colorfabb XT on a Prusa i3 MK2. After about 2-3mm the filament starts to ball up as well. I have begun testing material settings by printing the Prusa name plate.
I find the material to be adhered almost too well to the PEI sheet.
How quickly does filament absorb moisture? - My system is in a cooler unfinished basement room - I live in New Hampshire - so moisture is at a minimum.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
