Printing materials that requires support

Hello,

Im a newbie when it comes to 3d printing and got my prusa printer recently. Im trying to print these two items in the link belowt but need some professional help on how to do my settings on the slic3r mk2. can someone take a screenshot or give some input on whats the best support settings for my printing.

Hi Paul,

well, most of the time for support the approach is try and miss, and remembering some bad experiences !

But regarding the small part of the fruit, it's probably better to turn it so it remain flat on the bed (rotate X to 90 °), the bigger part seems to be properly supported, but only the print will told.

Best is always to check on the preview panel how the file is sliced and if any obvious hanging part were not properly supported. If that's the case, you can increase the supported area by increasing the "overhang threshold" value step by step.
