I try to make a bezel for a Nextion display and it is quite a steep learning curve for me.
I use Autodesk 123d design, Slic3r Prusa Edition and the Prusa MK2S.
This is the shape. Notice the rounded sides:
When I print it like this, even with support, the edges are not so good,
So, I turn it upside down and use support material again:
But now the inside is not so good. Notice the surface and the mountings
I scratched away some material, and from underneath, a nice surface shows up.
Do I have to scratch the stuff away? It is very difficult to do so .
