New Slicer Update - Question

As you may have seen, there is an updated version of Sicer3 available on the PRUSA drivers page. Te updates include - The Slic3r 1.39.1 final release brings an accurate print time estimator, a recommended object thin wall thickness hint, and a handful of bug fixes.

I have a few questions about the "recommended object thin wall thickness hint". Truth be told, I don't get the hint. The hint varies depending on what setting you are using, but I am unsure what the lines it is referring to. For example in the MK3 0.2mm setting the hint says - Recommended object thin wall thickness for layer height 0.20 and 2 lines:0.86mm, 4 lines:1.67. First, I assumed this hint was in reference to spiral vase, but when using this feature you can not adjust wall thickness can you (would love to be a able to, though)? Second, what lines are they referring to? Does the number of lines refer to perimeters or something else.

Perhaps I have this all wrong. Any clarity the forum can offer would be greatly appreciated.

in Spiral Vase mode, you can marginally increase the wall thickness by adjusting the extrusion width setting

HI Joan,

Thanks for the tip! I appreciate the insight. I will try that with the vase I am working with.
