Missing support material?? **ANSWERED**
I am trying to print an object with a shallow stepped depression on the base 1.6 and 3.2mm deep.
When I add the part to Slic3r, and slice it, it appears that no support material is present in the areas I would expect to see it.
I have thought about re-orienting the part, but I was hoping to hide the surface that is adjacent to any support material, under the part so it wont be seen.
What am I doing wrong?

Go to the support settings page and remove the tick in the "Don't support bridges"
