Materials to use for PLA not to stick to after printing?

Greetings!

My CNC uses a Dust Collection System based on an of the shelve Cyclone and a Dyson DC29:

Disconnecting the hose from the CNCs head in order to clean the rest of the basement is getting old really fast which is why I'm looking into 3D Printing an Airsplitter to which a bunch of hoses can connect to and depending on which needs to be active have one opened and the remaining closed using a rotary dial.

The way how I came up with asks for the Dial to be either be CNCed or 3D Printed first and then inserted at a certain stage of the Main Bodies 3D Print - From what I found this is being done by cutting the Part in Slic3r to change spools at the desired location, export the GCode, look for M600 inside the Code and replace it with a String that has the Printer wait for the user to insert the piece and when done so continue.

In my Example, the inserted piece would, during the 3D Print, also act as a support material which is desired but not to the point where it would permanently bond which brings me to my question as to how this could be prevented. Should I add a piece of paper on top of it or is there another material that can be used as a temporary bed but is still removable once done?

about 11:50, there are commands to pause and allow insertion. if you make sure your insert is not clean...  use wax polish, or similar, the PLA should not stick!

Would a waxed surface, be it PLA or a CNCed sheet of plastic, still allow for the extruded PLA to stick to it for it not to peel off during the printing process? The overhangs using that would be affected by it are curved so I assume they kinda NEED to stick to take their shape?

Maybe I should trial and error it on a small test piece first 😀

In the provided video, Joel is ADDING the String Code I was referring to after the M600 one while the Video I got my information from REPLACES it. Any thoughts on that?
