Dark blobs

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could point me at why I'm suddenly getting occasional small blobs or streaks in some of my prints lately.

I included a bird whistle as an example. It has flaws in several places, most notably at the head.

Thanks!

Re: Dark blobs

Sometimes a little material gets stuck to the outsize of the extruder nozzle, scorches, and eventually falls off into the print.

You can try cleaning the nozzle off and see if that helps.

I'll take a closer look. I've tried to regularly clean it but maybe I missed something.

Re: Dark blobs

Was their any black plastic run through prior to this print? I've found when I switch from black to another color there can be some random black patches or smudges in my next print or two even after I purge the black completely to the next color.

Re: Dark blobs

Tighten your nozzle, maybe its too loose. Check the Hotend for loose srews.
