Can't print skirts with S3D with new firmware
So i've just upgraded to the latest firmware and grabbed the S3D files from here as well, but now i have a really tough time printing skirts. I tried using my old S3D settings with the post-processing scripts that PR provided and get the same result...very confusing.
Essentially, the first layer looks great except for one corner where the filament doesn't stick at all (bottom left). It should be a 90 degree corner in the picture below

I have no idea what's causing this and it keeps happening. Multi part prints are even worse, so i have to do only 1 part at a time right now. 😕 Anyone have any ideas??

I don't have the Mk2 bits fitted to my printer at the moment, but I am guessing it may be that the first layer is a bit thin / Z height high...
would it be a problem to make the first layer height a bit bigger?

(Yeah I know it's odd to start a fine piece with a 0.3mm layer... but I was in a hurry, and the first layer is hidden in this instance... 🙂 )

I've had excellent results with using 0.15 first layer height for all levels of detail. That's with 3.0.7 and beyond. 3.0.6 had a 0.20 minimum and I used that then. It's important to not try to go lower then the firmware minimum because the machine will go to the minimum but the slicer thinks it's lower than that. This will lead to a bad first layer (under extruded) ...
