bug in slic3r?

When I try to print with 0% infill, I still get strange "plaque" on the inside walls. This is super annoying because the printer almost shakes itself apart trying to print this fine jagged detail that serves no purpose. This wasn't happening on an older version (non-Prusa). I get the same error in spiral vase mode since it uses 0% infill. Here is a picture of the g-code. Anyone know how to get this to stop?

Re: bug in slic3r?

Yeah, when it first happened to me I didn't understand what was happening.

it's actually a useful feature and is int Print Settings > Quality > Ensure vertical thickness .. if that check box is on it will to that weird "plaque" you are talking about. if you don't want it just uncheck it.

This is pretty useful on regular prints and it helps with the overall quality of prints. This is also being done by S3d and other slicers.

Thank yo!! That did the trick. Back to 0% infill. I get better prints without infill typically.

Yeah, it really depends on the model. 0 infill with 1 layer is great if you don't have complex models
