BambooFill and Stringing
Does anyone have experience using Bamboofill PLA(from eSun), and if so, what settings did you use to reduce the stringing. I've attached a picture of the part in question, and if comes out looking GREAT, it just happens to generate a lot of strings during the process. I print at 210, with bed at 55; but at 215/65 for the first layer (which helps for adhesion the bed). Anyway, I've search the web, and it gives some indication of changing retraction, which I have varied from the 'standard' setting (1.5mm @ 30m/s) to 5mm at 75mm/s without a noticeable change. Perhaps additional retraction would help, but I don't know what the LIMIT to this is, but if someone has done this already, please let me know.

When I printed with wood, there was more stringing, simply due to the nature of this filament. It is easily removed with a small stiff brush.
I believe that the maximum retraction speed (in firmware) is 25 mm/s; settings above this have been known to make the retraction slower.
In any event, I don't think additional retraction will help; all it will do is suck air into the nozzle which will hinder proper extrusion.
Have you tried lowering the temperature? Maybe 195 degrees.
You could also try a different slicer to reduce the number of moves and retracts or to perform a longer wipe before moves. Also increasing the move speed/acceleration will help. Maybe even try with only 0.5mm retraction (or none at all). Yes that is counter-intuitive, but getting the moves done quickly (without waiting for a retract) can help.

You are right in saying they are easy enough to mechanically remove, it just seems best not to create them at all.
The slicer used is Slic3r. I have also used Cura, and am now using Astroprint, both are integrated into their cloud slice capability. The settings are different, and I don't have an understanding of how they can be configured to create less moves, which sounds like a reasonable assertion for how to reduce the strings. Could you elaborate on how to configure a slicer to do less moves?

Sorry; can't help with that as I don't use Slic3r and only use Cura for quick prints where quality is not so important.
I think the Cura setting is "Enable Combing", but I never really got to test out the results.
