I would stick with whatever is in the MK3 branch. Considering the downloads page only has a single .hex file for download, I suspect they are using the code in the MK3 branch for everyone. Has worked fine in mine as well as other people using the LA enabled firmware I post up here from time to time.

I download the mk3 branch and just build without file copy/rename. So far so good.
