Vouchers

Has anyone actually received a voucher yet? My printer was despatched on the day the announced the Mk3 and I was non too happy after waiting 4 months for it. I could easily have waited longer if they had given me the heads up. I was promised a $50 voucher towards the upgrade to 2.5s and as of yet I've received nothing.

Re: Vouchers

Just log in in the shop and check if your discount is not already applied to the upgrade kit. By the way, you should have a $100 discount, not $50 in your case.

The $50 discount is in there but not $100.

Re: Vouchers

From my eMail :

Hi there,
It's been a month since we announced MK3 in New York. Time is flying, isn't it? 🙂 Anyway, we've more exciting news for you.

As we promised, the MK2.5 upgrade kit for owners of our MK2/S 3D printers is now available for order. If you have MK2/S, this is the best way to get the most valuable features of MK3 for a very fair price. It gives you the magnetic heatbed with spring steel sheet, a whole new extruder head with Bondtech, Noctua fans goodness and also the P.I.N.D.A. 2 bed leveling sensor and a filament sensor.

The retail MK2 to MK2.5 upgrade price is $199/199 EUR with VAT. If you have bought your MK2S during the last 30 days before MK3 release (September 23, 2017), it is just $99/99 EUR with VAT (we sent the vouchers on October 18, 2017, please check your spam folder before contacting our support). If you bought MK2/S before, ever, it will be $149/149 EUR with VAT for you (You have to be logged in with the account used to buy your MK2 to automatically get this discount). We know it’s a really great deal but the magnetic heatbed and the extruder improvements are extremely useful, and we want to spread them rapidly :-).

Preorder MK2/S to MK2.5 upgrade kit
But that is not all! You have asked for it, and we have always listened. Even though almost all the components are needed to be replaced, it will be possible to upgrade from MK2/S to full MK3. Unfortunately, the price is not very upgrade-friendly, and you could practically build a second MK2 from the leftovers. But you have this option, and that is important. If you have received the voucher for $100 discount for late MK2S owners (or a different amount based on the respective MK2S price drop in other currencies, for example 60 GBP discount for purchases made in GBP), you could use it for MK3 upgrade kit as well.

Preorder MK2/S to MK3 upgrade kit
And one more thing. 🙂 Finally, there is also the Multi Material upgrade kit for MK3 with four more filament sensors (yes, it's going to have 5 of them!) available to preorder from our e-shop! We expect to start shipping in January. So if you want your MK3 as soon as possible, we recommend making separate orders.

Preorder MK3 Multi Material upgrade kit
If you already have Multi Material for MK2, there's a special upgrade kit for MK2 Multi Material to use with MK2.5 or MK3, priced at $59/59 EUR with VAT.

Happy upgrading!

Jo Prusa

So, no voucher for the 50€ upgrade, go to the shop and log in. The discount is automatically added.

Thomas
