Unstable sd slot connection
Anyone else is experiencing unstable connection of the sd card in the slot? If I plug it to the end sometimes it works, sometimes it's not detected. If I move it a bit it works. Seems like bad soldering of the slot to the pcb or loose contacts inside the slot and happens with multiple cards. Until now, once the print is started it sticks, but since it's brand new it's a pity.
Re: Unstable sd slot connection
Yeah. It's more qc stuff. On one of my mk2s printers (same lcd) I had to reflow a lot of the joints myself. The whole thing is indeed a pity.
Re: Unstable sd slot connection
Ok, I wasn't aware the whole lcd assembly is widely available for a few bucks, so I'll get one and just replace it for good.

check with Prusa support, they should fix it for you!
Re: Unstable sd slot connection
Did you contact Prusa? It looks like we got a similar problem. We only can get the SDCard to be recognized when it is just right in the slot, sometimes only when we push it down just slightly.
That has ruined our first print as well, because it lost connection to the card in the middle of the print (nobody touched it), and resume also didn't work (it stated it was heating, but while the heat bed held its 60 degree temperature, the hotend just went cold and didn't heat up again, so we stopped the entire print).
RE: Unstable sd slot connection
It seems I have the same problem.
When the card is inserted in the slot, some times its recognised some times its not.
I have ruind some prints when the printjob stops during printing because the printfile on the sd card is not recognised anymore.
