TPU?

When I try to print with TPU I have a problem where the filament starts to loop outside the side of the extruder. It stops printing as well so I need to stop the print and start over. It happens pretty much every time.

I've been able to get one successful print by turning off retraction and slowing everything down dramatically to a max of 15mm/s.

Someone on #reprap stated the problem is caused by TPU filament being very compressible and it slips. Some 3d printers have solved this by creating some kind of filament shield so it doesn't loop out the side, however I can't find any modifications made for the mk3.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do to get TPU to print more successfully / more often on my MK3?
