Thumbs up for Prusa!

I received my kit on Friday 2nd Feb, never having seen a 3D printer before and finished building it today.

All tests passed and a couple of models printed.

I am very impressed with both the quality of bits and the instructions.

The only slight issue I have is a slightly squeaky X bearing, but will keep an eye out for future revisions and print some parts to improve things.

Also, a big thank you to all on this forum (I have been reading everything for the last couple of months whilst waiting for delivery)

If anyone is wondering if they should cancel their order because of negative feedback, I will say you will be missing out on a cracking little product!

Obviously it can be improved and I'm sure it will be.

Thanks again Prusa!!

Andrew, good to hear. This is my first time at 3D printing and my order is expected to ship in 5 weeks.

Check to make sure your "squeaky" bearing isn't rubbing on anything. (or the belt)

A squeaky bearing is already damaged, and won't last long. (I don't think it's actually the bearing's insides)

Enjoy the printer! I should get my mk3 here in another 2 weeks!!!!

I try to not make mistakes, but the decision is YOURS.
