I've noticed a couple oddities about the Slic3r profiles included for the MK3. Curious to know if anyone has any insight into the logic of these settings:

  • The first layer extrusion width is smaller than the default extrusion width in the standard profiles. I would have expected it to use a fatter-than-normal extrusion on the first layer for better adhesion.

  • The first layer temperature for the PETG profile is cooler than other layers. I would have expected warmer extrusion on the first layer to improve adhesion.

    • Anyone know why Prusa uses these settings?
