Replacement thermistor

Hey all,
I broke the thermistor whilst removing a failed print which had completely engulfed the hot-end...

If anyone can suggest which one to get to replace it, and thoughts on solder-repairing it (about 1.5" from the hot-end...)

Also, if there's any tips on getting the old one out/new one in that I should know about, I'm all ears 🙂

Pictures attached to show the kind of morning I've had ...

Thermistor cartridge from E3D. Will need cutting off the connector and/or some soldering.

The thermistor cartridge is held in place by a tiny grub screw in the heat block
