Quick question - PI Zero W install

I should have my MK3 kit in the next few weeks and have a PI Zero W that I want to install during the assembly process.

I won't be actually setting up Octoprint for a while though, so by having the PI board installed with no software changes or setup done, will I introduce any any problems with the MK3?

No, just don't enable the port for the RPi in the settings until you are ready.

If you're going to be needing to access the Pi and you're hooking it up directly to the back of the Rambo board, look into printing a new Rambo case so that you can access more easily.

If you're going to mount it externally using wires or similar, then disregard.

You might want to try this external frame. You just need to cut out four crossbars on the Einsy enclosure. I had one guy printing it out and told me the frame fit well to the Pi Zero but the cover pegs were a bit tight. I have updated the design and sent the new cover to him but I have not heard back yet from him. He liked the concept due to the fact that the Pi camera cable kept falling out of its connector and he had to disassemble the Einsy bd enclosure to repair it.

I already have my pin extenders from Digikey awaiting my printer. If you would like to try this frame, cover and nut holders it is on Thingiverse.
