Prusa Mk3 Pro or Enthusiast versions?
So I have heard most of the shipping hold up is the printing. Some of this makes sense with the rumor that Prusa is printing the parts with larger layer heights to speed production. While both of these are rumors as far as I know I think it could be fun to explore a pro/enthusiast option.
I own 2 Mk2(s) printers. I have fairly extensive experience and confidence in the printers. I'm sure many people who visit the forums and fill out tracking spreadsheets have a Mk2 as well. So if the printed parts are truly a time sink, have an option to get the printer without printed parts but instead 1KG of the material for the same price as the Kit.
This would feel more like a printer back into its RepRap roots. It reduces strain as every order that is a pro version would be freeing up a slot for someone who needs printed parts. Kits would ship faster than before. And perhaps it reduces a cost (time energy) on Prusa at the cost of a little more filament going out the door.
I personally would have the parts printed before the printer arrived, and just put the spare roll on the shelf. I would probably even print my parts at 0.15mm for a cleaner look. But at the same time it would make me feel even more proud of the printer by saying the previous version printed all the parts for the new version.
Anyways I know this is one of those what if posts. And I assume the kitting of these printers is actually a big part of the time sink. But this would be a very cool feature that possibly gets printers shipped a little faster.

This is an awesome idea, definitely something I'd be interested in. Please make this an option - I've just place my order today, 2nd half of March is unbearable.
