Printer is stuttering on some parts of the print
My printer seems to slow down on some parts of the print way to much while the movement feels stuttering in this areas.
Instead of 80 mm/s it seems to drop to something like 10 mm/s even when moving in a straight line. I have also seen the print head stop for a split second on a straight line. The issue is not limited to the first layer. I have also observed this issue midway through a 3DBenchy print. I don't think it is an issue with the nozzle catching the print surface. There is enough clearance to the print surface.
Could this be an issue with the stepper motors or drives?
I have uploaded a video of the movement. In the second link you can see the normal print speed for comparison. Both layer should be printed at the same speed according to Simplify3D preview.
In the picture you can see that the print quality in one of these areas where the issues occurred.

Make sure retraction is set to 0.8mm and retraction verticle lift is set to 0.6mm
Worked for me.
Re: Printer is stuttering on some parts of the print
I was able to identify the issue. It was caused by Octoprint on the connected Raspberry Pi Zero W. I removed the webcam and the printer runs fine now.
Re: Printer is stuttering on some parts of the print
I have however noticed a stopping during printing for an instant then resumes. Think it happens when the inner bottom layer finishes.
